The action of The First Phone Call From Heaven takes place in the little town of Coldwater, Mich. where five clergymen run five different churches. There’s a library, a real estate office and a resort-fishing industry that goes on in the summer, but, of course, the book begins in September, after that seasonal action has died down. A nice woman, Tess Rafferty, is trying to unwrap a tea bag when the phone rings. And that actually poses an interesting conundrum for the author: Are these phone calls - which go on till Christmas and cause no end of fuss - a hoax, or are they miracles?
Gretchen Peters wrote "If Heaven," which Griggs included on his final album for RCA, This I Gotta See. The song, which says"If heaven was a town, it would be my town, On a summer day in 1985, And everything I wanted was out there waitin'/ And everyone i loved was still alive, Don't cry a tear for me now, baby, There comes a time we all must say goodbye, And if that's what Heaven's made. Campbell wrote "Outskirts of Heaven" with Dave Turnbull after reading a passage in the Bible describing Heaven and realizing he wanted his Heaven to have "dirt roads for miles" and "dogwood trees and honey bees" instead of what's promised in the Scripture. If you read the Book of Revelation, it tells you that there’s golden streets and pearly gates and a very big city, which is not the environment I grew up in," Campbell tells The Boot. I can’t imagine myself living in any big city, Heaven or not.
Made In Heaven: The Aptly Named Album That Drew The Curtain On Queen. Queen’s fifteenth studio album, Made In Heaven, came out on 6 November 1995 and was a set of thirteen tracks painstakingly put together from a period spanning 1980 to 1995. Published on. August 17, 2017. Following his death, Deacon and Taylor sought to create a framework while May was promoting his Back To The Light album, but the sessions weren’t deemed quite right and so the trio started from scratch with the assistance of the trusted Dave Richards. What emerged was a labour of love that May views as up there with Queen’s best work and while allowing for sentiment, Made In Heaven is a coherent body of work. It opens with the song, ‘It’s A Beautiful Day’, an improvisation from Musicland, Munich 1980.
