American Dreamer - Gene Clark. 20. Outlaw Song - Gene Clark. 21. Full Circle - The Byrds. I can't wait for Gene Clark's next album. I hope he includes some cool new material. Gene Clark's American Dreamer is a must have for any fan, and a thoughtful compilation that will satisfy any lover of well crafted words and music. The treasure here is in getting both previously unreleased material and material that is no longer in production. It is in the newly released material that I find the greatest joy and sorrow. The included version of "One In A Hundred" is a revalation. Gene Clark backed by Roger McGuinn's 12 string is a joy to behold and vastly superior to the version released on the "White Light" album

Harold Eugene "Gene" Clark (November 17, 1944 – May 24, 1991) was an American singer-songwriter and founding member of the folk rock band the Byrds. He was the Byrds' principal songwriter between 1964 and early 1966, writing most of the band's best-known originals from this period, including "I'll Feel a Whole Lot Better", "She Don't Care About Time", and "Set You Free This Time"
