Let the Good Times Roll: The Music of Louis Jordan is the thirty seventh studio album by B. B. King, released in 1999. It is a tribute album to jazz saxophonist and singer Louis Jordan, and is made up entirely of covers of songs written or performed by Jordan. The album was released in 1999 on MCA Records. King of Rock is the second studio album by hip hop group Run–D. released on January 21, 1985 by Profile Records. The album was produced by Russell Simmons and Larry Smith. King of Rock became the first rap album released on CD. The album saw the group adopting a more rock-influenced sound, with several tracks prominently featuring heavy guitar riffs. The song "Roots, Rap, Reggae" features Yellowman became one of the first hybrids of rap and dancehall.
The 1992 issue The King of Rock 'N' Roll: The Complete 50's Masters features every song that Presley put out during the fifties, which is the time when much of his most important songs came out and his backing players included Scotty Moore. In contrast to his 1970 Reprise album The Rill Thing, which constituted a serious updating of his sound, complete with a brace of new songs, Little Richard's King of Rock & Roll was deliberately less ambitious, built around covers of material that early-'70s audiences would have known well by way of Motown, the Rolling Stones, Three Dog Night, Creedence.
