There is plenty of delay, and colorful vocals throughout. When I listen to Index Of Heat, I actually feel like I am exploring the thoughts of a schizophrenic individual (or are those scary voices coming from inside my head?).

Irrational Man’, Woody Allen (2015). Life’s ironic isn’t it? One day a person has a morass of complicated, unsolvable problems then in the batting of an eye, dark clouds part and she can enjoy a decent life again. It’s just astounding. Yuuri looks up at this impossibly irrational, petty and ridiculous man, who is apparently so in love with Yuuri that he’s willing to risk life, limb, and dignity to prove himself more worthy of Yuuri’s love. Against his better judgement, Yuuri starts to smile. Who’s Chihoko? he yells back. Victor ends up screaming naked from the top of a castle.
In Irrational Man, the usual resident Allen philosopher is an actual philosopher, Abe Lucas, a newly arrived East Coast college professor whom Joaquin Phoenix makes equal parts attraction and repulsion. A soulful presence, Mr. Phoenix excels at playing characters who often struggle to express themselves one tormented or comically inarticulate word at a time . Much of the time Ms. Stone, who leads with a smile that dims, seems to be trying to coax a reaction out of Mr. Phoenix. That gives the movie an uneasy edge, as does Parker Posey’s turn as Rita, a sexed-up cliché.

In 1939, speaking on the radio, Churchill said, "I cannot forecast the action of Russia. It’s a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma. 4. 'Russia only has two allies: the army and the navy'.
