Separations is the third studio album by English rock band Pulp, released on 19 June 1992 by Fire Records. Recorded in 1989, it was belatedly released in 1992 by the independent record label Fire, having already been released in France in 1991 on Rosebud Records. The songs on the second half of the album range between electronic synthpop and experimental acid house styles, while the first half contains songs more typical of Pulp's late 80s music.

Freaks (subtitled: Ten Stories About Power, Claustrophobia, Suffocation and Holding Hands) is the second album by the English rock band Pulp. 1 Release and aftermath.

The album this version of Pulp recorded, It, almost completely abandons the sound of that first Peel Session in favor of a folkier setup and a generally cheerful disposition. The first thing anyone familiar with classic, 90s Pulp will probably notice while listening to It is that Cocker hadn't yet developed his stage persona. The failure of Freaks and its satellite singles prompted Cocker to move to London to study film and very nearly ended the band, but he connected with bassist and fan Steve Mackey in London, and Pulp reconvened with the lineup that would finally put them over the top.

1987 studio album by Pulp. Studio album by. Pulp. Freaks (released with the subtitle Ten Stories About Power, Claustrophobia, Suffocation and Holding Hands) is the second studio album by English rock band Pulp, released on 11 May 1987 by Fire Records.

Freaks was Pulp's second album, and it represents a much, much darker change in sound from the band, incomparable to the wistful joy of their first album, entitled "It", which was released four years earlier. After a few good, although unsuccessful stand-alone singles released between the two albums, and with the addition of some of what would become their core members later on (particularly Russell Senior and Candida Doyle), Freaks was released somewhat belatedly in 1987 (as they were beginning to premiere some of the songs from their next record "Separations" live),.
