Purple Rain is the sixth studio album by American singer, songwriter, producer, and t Prince. It is the first to feature the billing of his band the Revolution, and is the soundtrack to the 1984 film of the same name. The album was released on June 25, 1984, by Warner Bros. In the United States the album debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard 200 the week of July 14, 1984 with approximately . million copies sold.

After the Rain is the sixth studio album by Muddy Waters, a follow-up to the previous years' Electric Mud and sharing many of the musicians from that album. Unlike Electric Mud, After the Rain contained mostly his own compositions and the songs, while still distorted, are less overtly psychedelic. On September 13, 2011, Get On Down Records digitally remastered and reissued the album on compact disc and vinyl.

After the Rain is the debut album of the American rock group Nelson, released by Geffen Records in 1990. The album was a commercial success, peaking at on Billboard 200 and spending 64 weeks on the charts. It contained the hit, "(Can't Live Without Your) Love and Affection" and the follow-up single, "After the Rain", which reached in February 1991. The album was eventually certified double platinum by RIAA.

The Devil's Rain is the seventh studio album by horror punk band the Misfits, released October 4, 2011 through their own label Misfits Records. It is the band's first album in eight years, following 2003's covers record Project 1950, and the first of original material since 1999's Famous Monsters. It is also the only release by the band's lineup of Jerry Only, Dez Cadena, and Eric "Chupacabra" Arce. The Devil's Rain was produced by Ed Stasium, who previously worked with the band on Famous Monsters.
