Thelonious Monk with John Coltrane is a 1961 album by Thelonious Monk issued on Jazzland Records, a subsidiary of Riverside Records. It consists of material recorded four years earlier when Monk worked extensively with John Coltrane, issued after Coltrane had become a leader and jazz star in his own right. The 2010 CD reissue was assembled by the label with material from three different sessions.

That John Coltrane played with Thelonious Monk in 1957 remains one of those astounding miracles. Only relatively recently did additional recordings of this precious collaboration come to light and see general release. In 1993, "Live at the Five Spot - Discovery!" appeared after years of obscurity. Also, the highly acclaimed "Thelonious Monk Quartet with John Coltrane at Carnegie Hall" turned up over a decade later.
