Bandolier is the fifth album by Welsh rock band Budgie, released in September 1975 through MCA Records. It reached in the UK and was certified Gold in 1976. The album was released in the US on A&M Records in late 1975. The cover art was created by artist Patrick Woodroffe. The song "I Can't See My Feelings" was covered by Iron Maiden on the B-side of their 1992 single "From Here to Eternity".
But 1975's Bandolier found the band pursuing a more conventional rock sound with a noticeable funk influence. This is most apparent on the guitar-scratching "I Can't See My Feelings" and the finger-snapping "Who Do You Want for Your Love?," featuring a slow groove topped with vocalist Burke Shelley's soulful wailing. While the riff-heavy "Breaking All the House Rules" and the amusing "Napoleon Bona Part 1 & 2" hark back to the band's early days, change was on the horizon.

Budgie are a Welsh rock band from Cardiff. They are described by author Garry Sharpe-Young as one of the earliest heavy metal bands and a seminal influence to many acts of that scene, with fast, heavy rock (an influence on the new wave of British heavy metal (NWOBHM) and acts such as Metallica) being played as early as 1971 Budgie. In late 1974, the band were joined by drummer Steve Williams for the album Bandolier, for live shows promoting this album and the follow-up, If I Were Brittania I'd Waive the Rules, the band were augmented by Welsh guitarist Myf Isaac for concert performances.
I Can’t See My Feelings is such a tremendously riff-tacular song that no other than Iron f cking Maiden decided to cover it for a b-side to the single From Here to Eternity, and even if Stevie Harris and Adrian and Bruce and Eddie won’t admit it Budgie’s song is way better and should have been side-a. It’s an honor to have your riffs played by Adrian and Dave and to be on the same album cover as Eddie. For a British (ok Welsh, but who cares).
