Fusion is a 1961 album by the Jimmy Giuffre 3. The trio on the recording was Giuffre's second drummerless group. It was remastered, remixed and (partially) re-released by ECM in 1992 as a double-album with the trio's other 1961-Verve recording, Thesis (with three previously unissued tracks from the August sessions), substituting an alternate take of "Trudgin'" and omitting "Used To B.

James Peter Giuffre (/ˈdʒuːfri/, Italian pronunciation: ; April 26, 1921 – April 24, 2008) was an American jazz clarinetist, saxophonist, composer, and arranger. He is notable for his development of forms of jazz which allowed for free interplay between the musicians, anticipating forms of free improvisation.

Jimmy Giuffre (also released as Four Brothers) is the debut album by American jazz clarinet and saxophone player, composer and arranger Jimmy Giuffre  . Baby the Rain Must Fall (film released 1965). Stagecoach (collaboration with Jerry Goldsmith, film released 1966).
