Bowie wrote C’est la Vie in summer 1967 and his manager Kenneth Pitt sent demos that October to song publishers and the American singer Chris Montez, to no response. Considered for Bowie’s second Deram album but never taken beyond the demo stage, C’est la Vie had a warm melody to suit its lyric’s homebody sentiments

From the 60's disc of the Deluxe unofficial boxset of rarities David Bowie - C'est La Vie - The Ultimate Rare Tracks 1964/2013 Demo acetates from 1968 Long known only as a song title, April’s Tooth of Gold was finally bootlegged in 2010, revealing itself as a piece of mild psychedelia melodically similar to Silver Tree Top School for Boys. Ray Davies was central to the development of Bowie’s songwriting and April’s Tooth of Gold discloses the debt as openly as Bowie ever allowed

David Bowie is the self-titled debut studio album by English musician David Bowie, released on 1 June 1967, on Deram Records. Its style and content bears little overt resemblance to the type of music that he was later known for, such as the folk rock influenced "Space Oddity" or the glam rock of The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.

With Cynthia Baldon, Reid Chavis, Marilia Colturato, Jack Davis. In a series of clinical tableau comprising a sort of apocalyptic travelogue of the LA streets, an aggressive homeless man berates the viewer regarding the circumstances of his life and the wrongness of everything. Title: C'est La Vie (2016).

C'est la vie is a 2012 studio album by Algerian singer Khaled and a follow-up to his career. It marks his first major collaboration with producer RedOne. It was released on AZ record label and peaked at number 1 on SNEP, the official French Albums Chart. The Album sold . million copies worldwide.

B Witched from Ireland were an immediate success in 1998 when their debut single ‘C’est La Vie’ hit in the singles chart and made them the youngest-ever all-girl group to do so. Remarkably that single was followed by three further successive hits – Rollercoaster, To You I Belong, and Blame It On The Weatherman. All those hits are included here as well as the three further top 20 hit singles. This 2CD set also includes a number of the special mixes of the hits, and selected tracks from the two top five albums released in 1998 and 1999. B Witched reformed for the ITV Reality TV show.

David Bowie - Rare Record. has been added to your Basket. Great little book-very useful. As a former collector of UK Bowie singles, I did find that I have quite a few things which are missing from the book-it's a shame that there's no contact details to pass these on to make the next version more complete. One person found this helpful.
