The series follows the pair as they go on all sorts of adventures, like camping and winding up in outer space, or doing yard work and winding up tending to the health of a mob of crows. Make no mistake about it: Daws Butler, who with Don Messick helped bring voice to many of Hanna-Barbera’s best-loved animated characters, had quite the mastery with the vocal chords. Even if, as Hanna-Barbera created even more animated characters and, in the process, dominated Saturday-morning television until the early 1990′s, it happened that some of his past voices had to be applied to newer characters coming from 3400 Cahuenga.
