Bone Thugs-N-Harmony ‎– E. 1999 Eternal. 이블: Ruthless Records ‎– RUTHE1999. Description from recordstoreday. com: The best-selling album from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony has sold more than 6 million copies, but this Record Store Day marks its first official release on vinyl. This also includes a download card.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Following the surprise success of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's summer 1994 anthem "Thuggish Ruggish Bone," the group returned a year later with E 1999 Eternal, an impressive debut full-length that dismisses any notion that the group was merely a one-hit wonder. From beginning to end, the album maintains a consistent tone, one that's menacing and somber, produced entirely by DJ U-Neek, a Los Angeles-based producer who frames the songs with dark, smoked-out G-funk beats and synth melodies.

Promotional clean version of E. 1999 Eternal with original track order, with the exception of the intro, "Me Killa" and "Budsmokers Only". "Mo' Murda" and "Shotz to Tha Double Glock" were taken off the retail clean version, but it is on this promo-only clean version. Apparently, it was issued to a handful of radio stations, but it was quickly recalled by the record label. There are very few copies in existence. Also available on CD, which has all 17 tracks.

It's a shame that this LP or any of the vinyl releases of the album really wasn't split into two records, it could've been much better sound quality and would've contained the entire track order. But because it was on a single record they had to squeeze as many songs as they could on both sides, resulting in low quality audio and the omitting of three tracks. This "clean version" is pretty much the same master as the retail clean version on CD and cassette, except with "Da Introduction", "Budsmokers Only" and "Me Killa" missing, so "Mo' Murda" and "Shotz to Tha Double Glock" were swapped for them in a way. It still contains some of the words left unedited on the retail edit, including the Coming to America sample at the end of "Mr. Bill Collector" that quite loudly exclaims, "Yo rent's due muthaf**ka!" followed by a gunshot.Regardless this "Phukkin Clean Version" is a collector's item for any long time Bone fan like myself. I recommend hunting down the CD pressing in all honesty if you truly want all 17 tracks in edited form, and it's more than likely much better quality than the vinyl.

I don't know for sure, I bought the vinyl for $60 at a record store in Los Angeles around the same time as this review and it was a much cheaper price than what was being offered here on Discogs.

Yes it is, with the exception of "1st of Tha Month" which is the radio edit with rerecorded lyrics. Except the clean promo CD is the only full-length version of the album that has every single track edited

Also, how many CD's do you think are out there relative to the vinyl?

Is the CD essentially just the clean version in terms of the backmasking of the swears?
