Not that there's anything at all wrong with that. There are songs on Abnormally Attracted to Sin that are as strong as anything she's written. Certainly the opener "Give," with its trip-hop rhythmic landscape and shifting backing vocals, slippery synth bass, and acoustic piano is beautifully constructed with a melody line that glides along a minor-key slant with a Middle Eastern tinge, and its lyric is both poignant and provocative

Listen free to Tori Amos – Abnormally Attracted To Sin (Give, Welcome to England and more). Abnormally Attracted to Sin is the tenth studio album by singer-songwriter Tori Amos, and is the artist's first release under her distribution deal with Universal Republic Records. The album, which Amos began writing while touring in support of her previous album American Doll Posse (2007), explores ideas of religious truths, a familiar motif of Amos's, and the relationships between women, power, and sin. The album will include accompanying 'visualettes' providing.

The album debuted on Billboard 200 at no. 9, giving Amos her seventh Top 10 album in the US. Unlike Amos' previous releases since 2000, which drew upon various external sources such as feminism, religion and politics, the album is considered a mainly personal album

Abnormally Attracted to Sin Tracklist. 2. Welcome to England Lyrics. 3. Strong Black Vine Lyrics. Abnormally Attracted to Sin Q&A. Arranger John Philip Shenale. Art Direction Christopher Kornmann.

Abnormally Attracted To Sin is an anthology in its most complete form. Amos has delivered a serving of emotionally charged ballads and up-tempos whilst still experimenting with her multi genre pushing musical style. She’s back in an epic way. From the minute the first drum stroke is playing in the opening track Give, you know you’re in for something special. What has Tori done with her 10th offering, Abnormally Attracted To Sin" She’s shown us that she knows how to deliver an alluring album of epic proportions whilst maintaining her legendary song writing ability. Of course, the album isn’t perfect and has no chance of matching her masterpiece (see From The Choirgirl Hotel) but she gives it a pretty good shot. The album has definite stand outs and a couple that could have been b-sides left for her next collection.
