Lennon had first worked on ‘Jealous Guy’ in the era of The Beatles’ self-titled but so-called ‘White Album,’ under the name ‘Child of Nature. But because Paul McCartney was writing ‘Mother Nature’s Son,’ John’s song was shelved until he revisited it under the new title on his Imagine album. Jealous Guy" is a song by English rock musician John Lennon from his 1971 album Imagine. Lennon began writing the song in 1968, when, as "Child of Nature", it was among the many songs demoed by the Beatles before they recorded their self-titled double album (also known as the "White Album"). The lyrics were originally inspired by a lecture given by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in early 1968, when the Beatles attended his spiritual retreat in Rishikesh, India

Susan Boyle's new album, released this week, includes a selection of Christmas classics. She has so far released six albums - selling 20 million of them worldwide - and is said to be worth an estimated £25million. But Boyle has faced struggles in her personal life. So for now, she has ploughed her energy into a new album, which includes a selection of Christmas classics and even a virtual duet with the late Nat King Cole. There's even talk of a film of Boyle's life, with Meryl Streep tipped to play her - though she admits that she would prefer Brit actress Julie Walters.
I was dreaming of the past And my heart was beating fast I began to lose control I began to lose control. I didn't mean to hurt you I'm sorry that I made you cry I didn't mean to hurt you I'm just a jealous guy. I was feeling insecure You might not love me anymore I was shivering inside I was shivering inside. Originally written and recorded by John Lennon in 1971, and released on the album Imagine, the song was covered by Roxy Music and released as a tribute following Lennon’s murder on December 8, 1980.
