Dick's Picks Volume 10 is the tenth live album in the Dick's Picks series of releases by the Grateful Dead. It was recorded at Winterland Arena in San Francisco on December 29, 1977, with extra tracks recorded on the following night. The album omits the songs "It Must Have Been the Roses" and "Sunrise", which followed "Good Lovin'". It also includes the first performance of "China Cat Sunflower" in over three years, which is audibly greeted with applause from the audience

Dick's Picks 10 was recorded 12-29-77 at Winterland Arena, San Francisco, CA. It Must Have Been The Roses and Sunrise were left off to keep the Playing In The Band jam intact on one disc. The third disc sees the second set jam from 12-30-77 as bonus songs. This show featured the first live China Cat Sunflower- I Know You Rider since 10-20-74 also at Winterland and it wouldn't be played again until 2-3-79 at the Market Square Arena in Indianapolis, IN.
