A hidden gem. Many ignored the album given the simplistic cover design. But the selection of songs on this album is possibly another strike of success by Chantal. It comprises track after track of best pop hits performed with Chantal's best smoky, enticing vocal: Hit The Road Jack, Les Champs-élysées, Honeysuckle Rose, Infectiously Slow, etc. If you have acquired the ability not to judge a book from its cover, then you would have gained yet another great selection of Chantal's smoky vocals.

As implied by the title "5", this is her fifth album. Her four other albums are equally wonderful. She has a way of delivering lyrics in a smokey, sensual way that will keep you coming back for more and more. I recently purchased Chantal No. 5 and what a buzz. I have all her cds and she just keeps getting better. Living on the other side of the world it is a letdown as I would love to see her live in concert.
