The Henry Brant Collectio. has been added to your Cart. Ceremony (1954) is interesting for being one of the rare early compositions of Brant to be included on this Innova series (other than the small and not entirely significant short pieces included in volume 8, but many of those were revised in 1984). Indeed the only regret I may have with the collection is that it has featured only recent works of Brant, all dating from the mid 1970s and after. They are so stupendous, I wish we had been offered a more complete picture of Brant and of his compositional development. Ah, abundance of riches.

While she underwent treatment, Brand lived with relatives. A collection of the columns from 2006 and 2007 was released in a book entitled Irons in the Fire. Brand continues to write articles for The Guardian that offer his perspectives on current events and pop culture, including the deaths of Amy Winehouse and Robin Williams
Meteor Farm: A Spatial Concert of Ceremonies constitutes the fourth volume in Innova's The Henry Brant Collection. As with several other Brant works, this 1982 work makes up the whole disc. Brant later unsuccessfully attempted to circulate a graphic of himself falling through space along with a Rototiller; this image is included in the CD booklet. One possible correspondence that comes to mind is with . Lovecraft's 1927 story "The Colour Out of Space," in which a meteor lands on a rural American farm that gradually takes over the minds and bodies of its inhabitants; perhaps Brant himself had that effect on the musicians in Middletown, CT.
