Produced by Keith Richards & Mick Jagger. Album Emotional Rescue. Emotional Rescue Lyrics. I come to you, so silent in the night So stealthy, so animal quiet I'll be your savior, steadfast and true I'll come to your emotional rescue I'll come to your emotional rescue Ah-ah, ah-ah, ah-ah-ah-ah Yeah, you should be mine, mine, oh. Yes, you could be mine Tonight and every night I will be your knight in shining armor Coming to your emotional rescue.

Emotional Rescue" is a song by the English rock 'n' roll band, The Rolling Stones. It was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and is featured on their 1980 album Emotional Rescue. Recorded between June and October 1979, "Emotional Rescue" is a disco-influenced number, somewhat similar to the band's 1978 hit "Miss You". The song is notable as one of the earliest songs by the group to show the growing rift between Jagger and Richards.

Coasting on the success of Some Girls, the Stones offered more of the same on Emotional Rescue. Comprised of leftovers from the previous album's sessions and hastily written new numbers, Emotional Rescue may consist mainly of filler, but it's expertly written and performed filler.

The album Emotional Rescue topped the album chart. Other fans of the Rolling Stones' work took note of the change in direction and were disappointed by it. Emotional Rescue is featured on all of the band's later compilation albums but was never performed in concert until 2013. com/playlist?list 4 9MSs1KgElQn.
