I want you to know He's not coming back Look into my eyes I'm not coming back. So knives out Catch the mouse Don't look down Shove it in your mouth. If you'd been a dog They would have drowned you at birth Look into my eyes It's the only way you'll know I'm telling the truth. So knives out Cook him up Squash his head Put him in the pot. I want you to know He's not coming back He's bloated and frozen Still there's no point in letting it go to waste

Knives Out" is a song by English alternative rock band Radiohead. The composition features electric and acoustic guitars, complemented by singer Thom Yorke's vocals. It appears on Radiohead's 2001 album Amnesiac, recorded during the same sessions as the previous album Kid A. Knives Out' was inspired by several different situations. I think the important thing is not that it sounds violent but rather that I try to express specific moments that I have experienced in my life: I transcribe them again, especially those I've been through in the music business. It doesn't hurt many people when someone disappears, they can always take advantage of what remains. Each song tries to elucidates things that I don't understand. According to an October 2000 Q magazine article, this song took 373 days to record.
