The Canyons EP. 2015. Cecilia and the Satellite (Toy Version) - Single.

Zombies on Broadway is the second studio album by released by American indie pop act Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, led by singer, songwriter, and pianist Andrew McMahon. The album was released on February 10, 2017, through Vanguard Records, led by the first single "Fire Escape", officially released September 9, 2016. Vocalist/pianist Andrew McMahon released his debut solo album, under the moniker Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, in October 2014 through independent label Vanguard Records.

Andrew Ross McMahon (born September 3, 1982) is an American singer-songwriter. He was the vocalist, pianist and primary lyricist for the bands Something Corporate and main songwriter for Jack's Mannequin and performs solo both under his own name as well as his moniker, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. On April 30, 2013, he debuted his first solo work, an EP titled The Pop Underground, which was followed by his debut album Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, released on October 14, 2014.

Andrew McMahon’s ‘The Pop Underground' may be the singer-songwriter's first effort under his own name, but it’s certainly not his first contribution to the indie-pop and piano-rock scenes. The four-song EP comes less than a year after the former Something Corporate and Jack’s Mannequin frontman retired the latter moniker. In interviews, McMahon has explained that Jack’s Mannequin was a means to create something new following Something Corporate’s hiatus, but the name soon became associated with his own battle with cancer. With ‘The Pop Underground,’ he's forging a new path.

The Pop Underground is the 2013 EP by former Jack’s Mannequin and Something Corporate frontman Andrew McMahon. It represents his official debut as a solo artist. The four-track extended play was led by the single Synesthesia, which was itself accompanied by a music video. Soon after the release of the album McMahon would adopt the moniker Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness. He would go on to release his debut solo LP under this name. The Pop Underground Q&A.

When Andrew McMahon meets fans after concerts, he's often surrounded by not-quite-teenage girls, almost always echoing the same sentiment: "your music saved my life. It's a heavy claim, but considering the subject matter of his songs and the earnest positivity his survival of his brush with death imparted on him, it's hardly surprising. The changes have not alienated his fanbase, which he has recognized by dubbing them "The Pop Underground". This name represents that antithesis of an underground pop band with a devoted fanbase, and the spreading of music not by sales numbers but virally through word of mouth. Those fans will not be disappointed by his first solo project, a four-track EP essentially named after them.
