Jah Wobble and the Invaders of the Heart released their debut album in 1990 and received a Mercury Music Prize nomination in 1991 for the ‘Rising above bedlam’ album. After the acclaimed ‘Take me to God’ album in 1994 the band split and Jah Wobble launched his own 30 Hertz record label which has subsequently released more than 30 albums. Over the past four decades, Jah Wobble has ploughed his own furrow as a solo artist, as well as becoming a well-respected session musician, with a genuine passion for Eastern and Global music. He has worked with a diverse range of musicians, including Baaba Maal, Bjork, Primal Scream, Brian Eno, Sinead O’Connor, Julianne Regan, Dolores O’Riordan, Holgat Czukay, U2’s The Edge, and Chaka Demus & Pliers. The man born John Wardle began his musical journey when he met John Lydon and Sid Vicious in 1973.

Jah Wobble began his musical career at 18 as a founder member of Public Image Limited. Here's the video for Jah Wobble's new single 'Merry Go Round', which was premiered last week via Louder Than War. The digital version of the ‘Merry Go Round’ EP is released on 18th May 2015.

Jazz founded The Soul Food Cafe System as a DJ in 1984, having discovered hip hop a year earlier. He first aired the sound as a DJ calling it "In the Soul Kitchen with DJ Maxi Jazz" on pirate radio station Reach FM London in 1985/6. He transferred this sound to pirate radio station LWR in 1987. In 1989, The Soul Food Cafe Band was picked up by Tam Tam Records, which is the dance wing of Savage Records. After the band dissolved, Jazz worked throughout Europe, and took time out to collaborate with Jah Wobble on the Invaders of the Heart album, followed by live dates with the Wobble Collective. Jazz met Rollo Armstrong in a studio and went on to form Faithless, together with Jamie Catto and Sister Bliss.
