But I Lied" is a song by the American pop music singer Michael Bolton. The song was co-written and co-produced by Bolton and Robert John "Mutt" Lange. Released as the first single from his multi-platinum 1993 album The One Thing, the song reached the US top 40 in November 1993 and eventually became Bolton's seventh and most recent top-ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100 when it peaked at number six in early 1994.

We're no strangers to love You know the rules and so do I A full commitment's what I'm thinking of You wouldn't get this from any other guy. I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling Gotta make you understand

You Lied" is a track originally performed by British progressive metal band Peach. It was notably covered live by Tool and released on their Salival live DVD/CD box set. The lyrics and melody were originally written in the 1980s by Simon Oakes (Peach's vocalist) for Amelia Fletcher, singer with Talulah Gosh. It was originally recorded in 1990 by Amelia and Simon as members of Bloom.

Gotta love Skyworld and this song is one of the best from the album. It conveys their expansive feeling of awe and heart wrenching movement of music. This is probably the greatest Two Steps song ever. Sometimes I wish their songs were longer so I could keep listening instead of pressing repeat.
