The Last Killers, The Directors (3) - Split (7"). 3 Bombs Over Berlin (LP, Album, Ltd, Num, Blu). Area Pirata, Surfin' KI Records.
American rock band The Killers has released five studio albums, one live album, three compilation albums, one extended play, 34 singles, four promotional singles, and 38 music videos. Part of the post-punk revival movement, The Killers are influenced by music styles of the 1980s and 1990s. The group's debut studio album, Hot Fuss (2004), brought the band mainstream success, spawning four UK top-20 singles, including "Mr. Brightside".
A split album (or split) is a music album which includes tracks by two or more separate artists. There have been singles and EPs of the same variety, which are often called "split singles" and "split EPs" respectively. Split albums differ from "various artists" compilation albums in that they generally include several tracks of each artist, or few artists with one or two tracks each, instead of multiple artists with only one or two tracks each.

The Killers are an American rock band formed in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2001 by members Brandon Flowers (lead vocals, keyboards, bass) and Dave Keuning (lead guitar, backing vocals). Mark Stoermer (bass, rhythm guitar, backing vocals) and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. (drums, percussion) completed the current lineup of the band in 2002.
Album number three tries to split the difference. The other three guys in the Killers have taken all that Sam's Town criticism to heart more than their lead singer. On Day & Age, the experimentalism is more scattered and more rewarding. Instead of just pressing the "huge and bombastic" button ad nauseum, they diversify: so there's the comically Caribbean "Joyride" (with full-on touristy sax solo), the Strokes-gone-samba of "I Can't Stay" and the impressively brooding (and Björk-ish!) closer, "Goodnight, Travel Well".
