Love is the eponymous debut album by the Los Angeles-based rock band Love, and was released in March 1966 on Elektra Records. Arthur Lee, who was originally from Memphis, Tennessee, but had lived in Los Angeles since he was five, had been recording since 1963 with his bands, the LAG's and Lee's American Four. He had written and also produced the single "My Diary" for Rosa Lee Brooks in 1964 which featured Jimi Hendrix on guitar.

Her words, like Sonia, like Maya, like Niki and Audre were rooted in the liberation of oppressed people as well as the uplifting of women. Faybiene had traveled on. You did not know her personally but what you knew was incredible. Nowadays, you fool yourself into writing about love in other ways. You can never be lonely in the company of so many tongues. At one point, you begin to cry.
Miranda agrees: "Since I became so famous. everyone is watching more music and singing more – because everyone wants to be more like m. As the Miranda character has matured, its popularity has especially grown with younger audiences of the Glee generation, with most of those attending her concerts being teenagers or 20-somethings.
