I like Art Pepper and his half hour is brilliant BUT the real gold for me is Bola Sete (a long time guitar hero) and Vince Guaraldi (who doesn't love him?) and film on these two is scarce to say the least and this is great great stuff!!! Oh my goodness I can't believe what I'm watching its so exciting to have this footage.

Ralph Joseph Gleason (March 1, 1917 – June 3, 1975) was an American jazz and popular music critic. A pioneering rock critic, he helped the San Francisco Chronicle transition into the rock er. .For National Educational Television (now known as PBS), Gleason produced a series of twenty-eight programs on jazz and blues, Jazz Casual, featuring Dizzy Gillespie, . King, John Coltrane, Dave Brubeck, the Modern Jazz Quartet, Vince Guaraldi with Bola Sete, Jimmy Witherspoon, and Sonny Rollins, among others. Gleason's name shows up in tribute on Red Garland's Ralph J. Gleason Blues from the 1958 recording Red Garland Quartet (Prestige PRLP 7193), re-released on Red's Blues in 1998.
