Overdose is the eighth studio album by Japanese pop band Pizzicato Five. The album was released on October 1, 1994 by the Nippon Columbia imprint Triad. It marks the group's first full-length album following the departure of founding member Keitarō Takanami. Setting a trend that would exist in later Pizzicato Five albums, Overdose is themed around a famous city, in this case New York City.

Love The Haps Mix. A really warm sounding tune, great vibes and rolls along nicely with the Apache beat. The Hubba Bubba Mix goes in a Jungle Techno direction with Reggae samples alongside a stomping 4x4, pretty cool too but the A side steals the show for me.

Inerrace

Rather good weird hardcore rave 12". Here Acen hero Dyce uses bits and pieces of Big Love by Fleetwood Mac and sprinkles them in steady doses over a rather relax breakbeat. This track gave me a very strange impression listening to it after all these years, cause it seems to be an off kilter precursor of a lot of the rockier sounding recent nu-breaks tracks, but this one certainly sounds a whole lot fresher and more original than most of the rip-off nu skool breaks things now floating around !! Classy toon !!
