The Other Side of Abbey Road is a 1970 studio album by American guitarist George Benson of songs from The Beatles' 1969 album Abbey Road. It was his last album for A&M Records. All songs written by Lennon–McCartney, except "Something" and "Here Comes the Sun" by George Harrison, and "Octopus's Garden" by Richard Starkey. George Benson – guitar, vocals.

The Other Side of Life Lyrics. Well, it's been a long time How should I feel? What can I say? With fantastic stories You present yourself in different ways. Some particular places Remembered so well Are hard to forget We've travelled so far now Then we were young Hard to impress. But she comes and goes The other side of life Sheltering only The other side of life

The Other Side of Vision.

The result was a good contemporary pop album that might have done better if Columbia Records had given it a little promotional muscle. As it was, "Sad Eyes" became Williams' biggest easy listening hit in three and a half years, but that wasn't enough to draw attention to the LP, which missed the charts, confirming Williams' retreat from the front ranks of recording artists.

Let's lose our way, go completely astray And find ourselves again You know the only way to get there is to take that step To the other side of life tonight. The atmosphere on the streets tonight Is the driving beat of the world The word down here on the streets tonight Is the truest music you've heard.

One of my faves, bought on release and got a 2nd copy about 15 years ago. 'Touch Me' (Eddie Folwkes version) is the one for me but A side also great.

Went to see Juan play in Brisbane a few years ago and he rocked it. Afterwards myself and my friend approached the man for a signature. We handed him two records, but it was this one he freaked about, Juan said "I have been all over the world, signed a million records and I have Never EVER seen a copy of this. He gladly signed it and handed it back adding "Keep that, it's really rare". I myself never owned a copy unil recently I walked into The Vinyl Exchange in Manchester and browsing through the racks saw Juan Atkins name on a divider, had a look, not expecting anything I did not already have. And Boom!!, 12 pounds...I nearly fell over when I spotted it. Beautiful record, sultry vocals, unbelievable breakdowns with a melancholic mood throughout, made all the more special by the fact it took me a long time to find. Back of the Net!
