Semisonic’s second album, Feeling Strangely Fine, is being reissued on vinyl for the first time for it’s 20th anniversary. Even better, this is a double vinyl package with bonus tracks. The 1998 album features two brilliant singles in Closing Time and Secret Smile although Singing In My Sleep is also pretty good and was a minor hit in the UK. The late nineties was very much the era of the CD so the album wasn’t issued on vinyl in any territory

Full of double meaning and precision songcraft, Feeling Strangely Fine takes the listener on a heartfelt journey through all the stages of a relationship. Published on. March 24, 2019. Following the critical success of their previous album, Great Divide (which Rolling Stone called one of the best albums of 1996 ), Semisonic’s world was turned upside down. Almost overnight the group went from a solid adult contemporary outfit to radio juggernauts thanks to success of a little song you might know called ‘Closing Time’, the opening track off their second studio album, Feeling Strangely Fine.

Your choice of black or indigo blue. The 20th Anniversary Reissue of Semisonic’s seminal 1998 album Feeling Strangely Fine Deluxe Gatefold 2-LP Gold Colored Vinyl Set with Expanded Artwork. Autographed by the band. Includes four bonus tracks and new liner notes by the band. Your choice of Black or Indigo Blue.

Feeling Strangely Fine. Semisonic Format: Audio Cassette. Feeling Strangely Fine. What a "strangely fine" collection of fantastic music. It is an album that can be enjoyed for many years and never get tired of listening to. There isn't a bad song in the mix. Closing Time and Secret Smile are in their own right, worth every penny you'll spend.
