Sometimes is the debut solo album by City and Colour, a side project of Dallas Green, a guitarist and singer for the band Alexisonfire. However, due to high demand, the songs were compiled onto a studio album and released through Dine Alone Records.

Sometimes I feel like a motherless child. And you wonder why I'm drinking more and more each day I don't want to come home - I don't want to stay Cuz the world revolves around what you do and feel and think and say And if I express myself, it just draws you away. Sometimes I feel like a motherless child Sometimes I feel like a motherless child (And you wonder why) Sometimes I feel like a motherless child (And you wonder why) Sometimes I feel like a motherless child (And you wonder why) Sometimes I feel like a motherless child (And you wonder why) Sometimes

Sometimes is the debut solo album by City and Colour, a side project of Dallas Green, a guitarist and singer for the band. Despite the album's relatively limited initial commercial success, it received widespread critical acclaim in its native Canada where it was certified gold in March 2006. lt;/p

The idea to record an orchestral album originally formed in the minds of the two leading lights of the BLIND GUARDIAN universe - guitarist André Olbrich and singer Hansi Kürsch - during the 1990s when BLIND GUARDIAN started to use orchestral elements to enhance their opulent sound. In recent years the giant project started to take shape, and parallel to epic sound cascades, the lyrical concept was developed. For this, BLIND GUARDIAN was able to find support in German bestselling author Markus Heitz, whose new novel Die Dunklen Lande is being released today (March 1st)  . It's amazing, the things that can happen sometimes, Markus remembers. Of course I immediately agreed to join! This creative collaboration is very special for me.

The album's release will be celebrated with a double performance of deadmau5 tunes by a live orchestra Saturday and Sunday, March 31 and April 1, at the Wiltern in Los Angeles. Ever wondered what "Strobe" would sound like if you removed all the electronics and adapted its ambient synths into orchestral strings? What if you replaced the pounding beat with classic percussion? Or maybe you're dying to hear "F'n Pig" the way Mozart would have perhaps conceived of such a composition? Well, deadmau5 must have always wondered what his songs sounded like in a classical vein, too, because the progressive producer went full analog on his latest release where's the drop?, a 15-track LP in collaboration with music director Gregory Reveret that.
