However, I tend to be too exhausted after half of the album. It's a bit too bloated, it establishes a really melancholic to saturated atmosphere and is difficult to exactly catch the lyrics. With a bit less, this album would have touched a large spectrum of ears. For advanced listeners.

At nearly seventy minutes in length, Low Roar’s sophomore release is sort of the anti-Swans of 2014. There are virtually no similarities between the artists besides their lengthy album runtimes, but the approach to listening is actually fairly similar. Experiencing 0 requires you to immerse yourself within the music, while allowing it to guide you towards the prevailing moods and themes of the entire experience.

The first time hearing the chords of "Easy way out" through my speakers I felt the musicality. Very well mastered album. The gatefold has thick and sturdy cardboard and the extras are nice but I dont understand why they did not include a lyrics sheet considering there is not a ton of singing. The worst part is the pressing. With some pops here and there it can be annoying on the softer tracks but its not that bad. Even if you only like a few songs its worth a purchase in my eyes since this is an album that easily grows on you the more you listen to it.Equipment used:Rega RP1 with Nagaoka MP-110 cartridgeCyrus 2 AmplifierSystem Fidelity SF-3050 tower speakersCustom made HQ speaker cables
