The band's debut album Kammerspiel was released in February 2011 on Gizeh Records, and their sophomore "On Floating Bodies" on Chemikal Underground in March 2013.
By doing a lot of little things well, without making any grand gestures, Glasgow duo Conquering Animal Sound have here crafted a delightful debut album which tinkles and buzzes, chimes and crackles with real promise. It feels like a debut as one senses there’s plenty more to come – but at the same time, it’s a satisfyingly complete listen, a fully rounded full-length which rewards repeat listens with the discovery of charming new details and nuances.

Conquering Animal Sound hail from Glasgow, Scotland (having recently departed their home in Edinburgh) and comprise of Anneke Kampman and James Scott. The duo formed in 2009 and were soon making waves in the fine city of Edinburgh. A host of labels came knocking and subsequently a split 7 single (featuring the song Giant) with Debutant was released via Gerry Loves Records in May 2010 and agreements were put in place with Gizeh and mini50 Records to release debut album 'Kammerspiel' in 2011.
