Ricochet is the self-titled debut album of the American country music band Ricochet. Released in 1996 on Columbia Records Nashville, it produced four hit singles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts: "What Do I Know", "Daddy's Money" (a Number One), "Love Is Stronger Than Pride", and "Ease My Troubled Mind". The album itself has been certified gold by the RIAA

A ricochet (/ˈrɪkəʃeɪ/ RIK-ə-shay) is a rebound, bounce or skip off a surface, particularly in the case of a projectile. Most ricochets are caused by accident and while the force of the deflection decelerates the projectile, it can still be energetic and almost as dangerous as before the deflection. The possibility of ricochet is one of the reasons for the common firearms safety rule "Never shoot at a flat, hard surface

Ricochet (Ricochet album). An album is a collection of audio recordings issued as a collection on compact disc, audio tape, or another medium. Albums of recorded music were developed in the early 20th century as individual 78-rpm records collected in a bound book resembling a photograph album. Vinyl LPs are still issued, though album sales in the 21st-century have focused on CD and MP3 formats; the audio cassette was a format used alongside vinyl from the 1970s into the first decade of the 2000s.

Ricochet is the eponymous debut album by country group Ricochet. It produced the hit singles What Do I Know, "Love is Stronger Than Pride, Ease My Troubled Mind, and Daddy’s Money. The last one reached number one on the Hot Country Singles. The album itself was certified Gold by the RIAA. While it only reached 101 on the Billboard 200, it managed a 14 peak on the Country Albums chart. Producers Ed Seay & Ron Chancey. Writers Bob DiPiero, Mark D. Sanders & Steve Seskin. Ricochet was the first live album released by Tangerine Dream, although the term Live is loose. A number of live performances from that 1975 tour serve as the basis for the album, mainly from Salle Des Fetes De Talence, Bordeaux (September 20th 1975) and Fairfield Halls, Croydon (October 23th 1975). You can listen to the original Croydon set, the basis for Ricochet Part 1, and hear the difference between the original live and final studio version. Chris Franke: The concerts were much too long to use in one context.
