La Oreja de Van Gogh is a Spanish pop band from Donostia-San Sebastián, Spain. The band's lyrics and compositions are written primarily by Xabi San Martín, and additionally by Pablo Benegas and Amaia Montero (who remained in the group until her departure in 2007). The lyrical themes of their songs typically include love, friendship and relationships. Since their debut, they have sold more than 8 million albums worldwide.

La Oreja de Van Gogh's third album was releasead in April 28 of 2003. Internationally, it is the most successful album of the band and it is said to be their consolidation album in the music industry. Like their previous work, its first three singles; "Puedes contar conmigo", "20 de Enero" and "Rosas" peaked in Spain and most latinamerican charts. After three years, the band released their fourth album, Guapa and the extended play Más guapa, the last one where Amaia Montero features.
