Chet is an album by jazz trumpeter Chet Baker first released in 1959. The record is sometimes subtitled The Lyrical Trumpet of Chet Baker. Chet features performances by Baker with flautist Herbie Mann, saxophonist Pepper Adams, pianist Bill Evans, guitarist Kenny Burrell, bassist Paul Chambers, and either Connie Kay or Philly Joe Jones on drums. It was recorded in December 1958 and January 1959 and released on the Riverside label.

2011 Original Album Plus Bonus Tracks. Highway Jazz - Chet Baker, Vol. 1. Chet Baker.

The first in Blue Note's Jazz Profile CD series, this sampler features trumpeter/vocalist Chet Baker, who never actually recorded for Blue Note; his Pacific Jazz recordings, however, are also owned by Blue Note's parent company EMI. All 11 selections on this set have been reissued on CD; although they are not quite definitive (no "My Funny Valentine" here), there is a great deal of fine music to be heard.

Chesney Henry "Chet" Baker, Jr. was an American jazz trumpeter, flugelhornist and vocalist.

Jazz Profile: Chet Baker. A Special Selection of Original Songs. Jazz Heritage: Chet Baker. 2010 OJC Remaster; Original Jazz Classics Remasters. Miles Davis, Chet Baker.

Note (from program booklet): The versions of 'Lucius Lu' and 'Halema' on this collection were issued originally on a Crown label LP and differ slightly from the versions on the original LP and CD reissue of 'Chet Baker And Crew'. The first chorus of the tenor saxophone solo on 'Lucius Lu' is different. Also, 'Halema' is presented here in its full form while a section of the opening ensemble was edited out of the version on 'Chet Baker And Crew'. These versions are in mono and there is a brief dropout in the theme of 'Lucius Lu'.
