I have been really feeling CFCF's music recently. I like his spider-man looking avator too, so cute. Don't really know much about CFCF except that he is from Montreal. It seems there are just more and more talents coming out from Canada. This remix album is a synth journey that reminds me a little bit of the Rocky theme. His new song Claudio is better though, honestly, and his remix of Femme is also a good one. Reply Notify me 2 Helpful.

Released: January 1, 2008. 1. Time to Let Go. I Know. 4. 5. I'll Be By Your Side.
Like its predecessor Remix Romance Vol. 1, it collects previously existing and newly produced versions of tracks from Disco Romance. This collection includes remixes from Dntel, The Russian Futurists, Solvent, and famed Italo disco producer Alexander Robotnick.
Remix Romance Vol. 1 is an accomplished, occasionally revelatory recasting of Disco Romance's synth-pop by some of contemporary electronic music's most capable hands. The fragile melodies and melancholic lyrics of the original songs mostly survive the remixing process, but here they're dressed up in shiny disco (Toronto duo the Cansecos' "Hold Me So Tight", with its funky Gloria Gaynor bass lines), pulsating techno (Hamburg producer Tensnake's grand, Booka Shade-esque "I'll Be By Your Side"), or even quirky.
