My Life in the Bush of Ghosts is the first album by Brian Eno and David Byrne, released in February 1981. It integrates sampled vocals and found sounds, African and Middle Eastern rhythms, and electronic music techniques. It was recorded prior to Eno and Byrne's work on Talking Heads' album Remain in Light (1980), but sample clearance delayed its release by several months.
Along with groups including Chochukmo, King Ly Chee, Poubelle International and My Little Airport, Hungry Ghosts are considered one of Hong Kong's most influential and well-established independent bands. The band has released two studio EPs and was featured on The Underground HK's annual compilation in 2010.

They want to feed the hungry ghosts who have been wandering the land since the beginning of Hungry Ghost Month. It is thought that after two weeks of activity, they must be very hungry. The Hungry Ghost Festival is one of several important festival days of Ghost Month (鬼月) - the seventh month of the Chinese lunar calendar. It is thought that the ghosts of Chinese ancestors are let out of hell on the first day of the month. It has been the scariest month of the year for thousands of years
As such, Hungry Ghosts represents a sense of defiant independence and refute of traditional professional and musical paths. Most strikingly, Hungry Ghosts draws upon electronic influences more so than OK Go ’s three previous releases
