Endless, Nameless is the third album proper by The Wildhearts (Fishing for Luckies originally being a fan club-only release), and was their first album to be released on Mushroom Records following a split with original record label EastWest. With the increasing popularity of bands such as The Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy, the band was encouraged by their new label to move towards a heavier sound.

Blueshift Reprise DS008: 1996 Redshift's eponymously titled first album was actually completed in mid 1994 but not physically released until 7th December 1996 at the band's first ever concert at the Jodrell Bank Planetarium in England. Like the majority of Redshift's studio output it is actually a solo album recorded by Mark Shreeve. The album was gently remastered in 2006 for another CD re-pressing mainly to deal with some of the original noise issues (originally it was recorded on 24 track tape) and the rather polite dynamics.

The Redshift is the fourth album from the Finnish melodic death metal band Omnium Gatherum. It is the band's second release for the Candlelight Records label. The album features a number of creative aspects not yet attempted by the band. A music video for the single 'Nail' was released in Autumn 2008. The album placed 24th in the Finnish heavy metal charts during 2008. All lyrics written by Jukka Pelkonen. The RedShift at MySpace. The RedShift at OmniumGatherum. The RedShift at MetalFromFinland.

Rob Jenkins, a band member for most of the group's existence, left prior to their seventh album Redshift VII - Oblivion. The band's style ranges from Berlin School to dark ambient. Their sound is largely dependent upon older synthesiser technology, notably instruments such as the Moog 3C, which they combine with more recent digital technology.

Redshift support OpenVDB rendering in all 3d apps and native volume rendering in Houdini. Redshift lights can cast volumetric lighting around them. Hair rendering with ‘Min Pixel Width’. Thin hair can produce noisy renders. Redshift supports 'MPW' rendering which smooths out the look of thin and hard-to-sample hairs. Tessellation and displacement. Redshift's tessellation supports edge and vertex creasing with separate UV smoothing control.

Stylstically, the album doesn't sound that different from their earlier releases, but it is a surprsingly consistent and appealing set of thunderous hard-rock. The album may take its name from Nirvana's unlisted noise symphony at the end of Nevermind, but the record owes more to straight-ahead glam-rock and metal and its the better for it.
