Classical Jazz Sheet Music Books. Fonteyn, S: Pop Looks Bach. The Theme from Ski Sunday arranged for easy piano.
Folk jazz is music that pairs traditional folk music with elements of jazz, usually featuring richly texturized songs. The origins of folk jazz can be traced back to the fifties, when artists like Jimmy Giuffre and Tony Scott pursued distinct approaches to folk music production, initially, as a vehicle for soloist expression.
Samuel Soden (20 May 1925 – 29 August 1991), known as Sam Fonteyn, was an English composer-pianist whose most significant output was for the Boosey & Hawkes Music Library, for which he composed and recorded countless works. Most are short character pieces for the piano with colorful titles indicating the images the pieces are meant to conjure. Others are bright orchestral pieces. Fonteyn's work has been heard on television since he recorded for Boosey & Hawkes in the 1970s.
