Wolfs Blood is the second EP by American horror punk band Misfits. It is the last album released to feature founding member and lead vocalist, Glenn Danzig. Danzig released it on his Plan 9 label in December 1983, two months after he played his last concert with the band. It was noticeably heavier and faster than their previous releases, showing more of a hardcore/thrash sound. Since its release it has often been referred to as simply "Earth .

The album Walk Among Us (1982) was not included in the box set, as it was the only album to which Caroline Records did not hold distribution rights. Additionally the set omits three tracks from the Static Age sessions which had been recorded but were never mixed: "She", "Spinal Remains", and "In the Doorway". These tracks were mixed and included with Static Age when it was released as a separate album in 1997. After the band's breakup in 1983 Danzig continued to issue Misfits material through Plan 9, including the studio album Earth . Wolfs Blood (1983), which had been recorded prior to the breakup, the "Die, Die My Darling" single (1984), and the live album Evilive (1987). He also released the compilation album Legacy of Brutality in 1985, consisting of unreleased Misfits material on which had overdubbed new guitar and bass tracks.
Copies with S9 in the stampers have mis-colored (dark grey instead of black) hair on the center ghoul's head due to a bad printing job. The vinyl is thick and opaque.
Likely a second pressing because there is large spindle ring and has S-numbers for stamper identifiers. But maybe their is no way to be sure. Largely considered a first press according to Misfits Central.
