Live in Boston is a triple CD live album by American rock band the Doors. It was recorded at the Boston Arena on April 10, 1970 during the band's Roadhouse Blues Tour. The band performed two shows, one starting at 7pm and a second scheduled for 10pm but not actually starting until past midnight. Jim Morrison appears to be intoxicated during the entire latter show, and continued drinking heavily throughout the performance.

Boston-area 16-year-old vocalist Amanda Mena, acclaimed for memorable performances for America's Got Talent. The Texas Tenors, America's Got Talent's highest rankingmusical. The Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular, America's best Independence Day celebration, takes place on July 3rd and 4th on the Esplanade next to the Charles River. Concerts in the historic Hatch Shell on both days feature Conductor Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra. The concert on July 4th is part of a fabulous show including a fighter jet military flyover and a terrific lineup of special guests and finishing with fireworks. On July 3rd, only the concert (which is actually a dress rehearsal) takes place.

Their eponymous first album, released in January 1967, kicked off with Break on Through (to the Other Side) and also featured the chart smash Light My Fire, the scorching Back Door Man and the visionary masterpiece The End. The Doors arrived fully formed, capable of rocking the pop charts and the avant-garde with one staggering disc. Before ’67 was over, they’d issued the ambitious follow-up Strange Days, with such gems as Love Me Two Times, People Are Strange and When the Music’s Over . Before picking up the guitar at age 17, the . native studied trumpet and piano. The inspiration for switching to guitar came not from rock ‘n’ roll, but Spanish flamenco music. His first guitar hero, however, was jazz legend Wes Montgomery.
The last time Boston played the TD Garden was in 2013 for the Boston Strong benefit concert where victims and heros where rightly honored in an emotionally mixed night of somber and celebration. Returning to The Garden with that memory and looking ahead to the wonderful friends, family and four decades of multigenerational enthusiastic fans while hearing Tom Scholz say, Welcome to Boston !
