This is the discography of the British rock band Marillion. Mostly associated with the progressive rock genre, they emerged as the most successful band of its second wave, neo-progressive rock, but they have also achieved over 20 UK Top 40 singles, including four which reached the Top 10. They have released nine albums which reached the Top 10 of the UK Albums Chart.

Christmas 1999: marillion. Christmas 2000: A Piss-Up in a Brewery. Christmas 2001: A Varry Barry Christmas.

Brave is the seventh studio album by Marillion, released in 1994. It charted at number 10 on the UK Albums Chart, being the last of the band's albums to reach the Top 10 in the United Kingdom until F E A R reached number 4 in 2016. The album, which mixed classic symphonic progressive rock with standard rock, was ranked by Raw as one of the 20 greatest albums of 1994.

MARILLION is a Neo-Prog, Progressive Rock artist from United Kingdom. Pointer went on to jointly form Arena, a classic neo outfit who still record today, and still tours his Script era version of Marillion. The difference Mosley made, though, both live and in the studio, was palpable. The line-up released three more albums; Fugazi, Misplaced Childhood, and, finally Clutching At Straws.

Marillion formed in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England in 1979. Recording consistently since 1982, their output is generally regarded as comprising two distinct eras, that of original vocalist Fish who helmed the band at arguably their most popular (critically and commercially), and his replacement; former Europeans member Steve Hogarth, who joined the band after Fish's departure in 1989. The band's differing styles between the two vocalists has often been known to divide fans. it's a divisive issue for sure, personally i prefer the hogarth deep pop era, yet many of my friends won't even listen to this stuff to give it a chance, why do i prefer it ? because i'm a huge gabriel era genesis fan and quite honestly the early prog marillion were'nt fit to polish their boots, so when marillion.

Brave (Marillion album). Brave is the seventh studio album by Marillion, released in 1994 Raw ranked Brave as one of the 20 greatest albums of 1994

MARILLION's fourth album "Clutching At Straws" was to be "old" MARILLION's farewell to the world. The album, dealing with the problems of drug addiction and alcoholism, was the final album to be made with Fish as front man and lyricist. Fish left the band in 1988 to pursue a solo career. MARILLION - HOGARTH (1989 - today) Their new sound seems more geared for radio play, although they still have an air of depression in the music. Season's End" was issued in 1989 with a new singer, a lot less inspired by Peter Gabriel, Steve HOGARTH
