Featuring some of the most requested songs from 'Dial an Oldie' on United Stations Radio Networks' SOLID GOLD SATURDAY NIGHT".

Dick Bartley, a popular American radio disc jockey since June 21, 1969, hosts several popular syndicated radio shows of the oldies/classic hits genre, including the current Dick Bartley's Classic Hits, syndicated through United Stations Radio Networks. From 1982-2017, he was host of a national Saturday night call-in request show - known as Rock & Roll's Greatest Hits from 1991-2017 - that aired live (until 2009, after which the program was pre-recorded); that program, along with the Classic Countdown, were combined into the new Classic Hits show. Bartley's programs use historic data from the Billboard Hot 100 and other charts.

Dick Bartley has been hosting America's Classic Hits request radio show since 1982. Debuting as "Solid Gold Saturday Night," the program became "The Rock & Roll Oldies Show" on Westwood One, and since 1991 has been known as "Rock & Roll's Greatest Hits!" With our new home, the United Stations Radio Network, comes a new toll-free request number: 1-866-989-1975.

Uptown Saturday Night is the acclaimed debut studio album from American hip hop group Camp Lo, released January 28, 1997 on Profile Records and distributed through Arista Records. The album spawned the hit single, "Luchini AKA This Is It". The album peaked at twenty-seven on the . Billboard 200 and reached the fifth spot on the R&B Albums chart. Uptown Saturday Night is often hailed as a classic by fans and critics

This budget collection on the Solid Gold label is a hodgepodge of 30 seemingly unrelated tracks, ranging from standards to Burt Bacharach and Coldplay! The music on Sax at Midnight is as generic as the packaging, making this set nothing more than mediocre background music. It's advisable to skip this lemon and pick up a quality compilation on a legitimate jazz label like Blue Note, Prestige, or Pacific Jazz.

Bartley's programs use historic data from the Billboard Hot 100 and other charts. Bartley got his start at age 17 playing "Bad Moon Rising" on radio station WWOD.

Ultimately, Saturday Night Fever doesn't disregard disco's underground origins so much as it simply sublimates them to the mainstream white experience. As a soundtrack, it works perfectly well, immersing listeners in the music (and therefore the spirit) of the film while selling more tickets.

Saturday Night Fever is a 1977 American drama film directed by John Badham. While in the disco, Tony is the champion dancer.
