Tame Impala biography.

Twenty One Pilots is the self-titled debut studio album by American band Twenty One Pilots, released independently on December 29, 2009. The album sold 115,000 copies and peaked at number 139 on the . Billboard 200. It is the only album to feature bassist Nick Thomas and drummer Chris Salih before they both left the band in 2011.

A near miss, "near hit", "close call", or "nearly a collision" is an unplanned event that has the potential to cause, but does not actually result in human injury, environmental or equipment damage, or an interruption to normal operation. OSHA defines a near miss as an incident in which no property was damaged and no personal injury was sustained, but where, given a slight shift in time or position, damage or injury easily could have occurred.

Near miss is a special aviation term, describing loss of safe longitudinal, vertical, lateral or time separation between aircraft during the flight. In worst cases near miss can develop into mid-air collision. When the crew is distracted from controlling their climb or descent, level-bust can occur.

The near miss involved a Boeing 777 that was carrying 261 passengers and a small Cessna four-seat, single-engine, light airplane. This is important reading for every flight training student and pilot. The controller radioed both planes’ pilots and the jet’s automatic traffic collision avoidance system alerted its pilots of the small aircraft approaching, causing them to level the jet’s climb. A near miss at an airport is often called a runway incursion.

Sebastian Thoma filmed this quite remarkable video by Princess Juliana Airport in St. Maarten where a flight from Toronto nearly made contact with the ocean upon arrival to the island. According to Sebastian, the plane came in too low during stormy weather. The pilot held the aircraft over the airport for 45-50 minutes, before safely landing.

No Phun Intended is an album by Tyler Joseph. The album was recorded in Joseph's senior year of high school, from 2007–2008, in his basement as a solo project. The album was never formally released, and was instead handed out on CD to Tyler's friends and family, as well as those who attended some performances in the early years of Twenty One Pilots.

Speaking to the paper, the DC-10 plane's two co-pilots, Esko Kaukiainen and Markku Soininen, describe how a routine flight back to Helsinki from Japan in December 1987 suddenly took a dramatic and terrifying turn. When the plane was crossing the Arctic Ocean, two hours from its destination, a missile appeared in the distance. Finnair’s records contain no mention of the dramatic near-miss. No definitive answers.
