Silent Knight is the third studio album by the Canadian progressive rock band Saga and was originally released in August 1980. Two of the songs, "Don't Be Late (Chapter Two)," and "Too Much to Lose (Chapter Seven)," were part of a series of eight (but later sixteen) songs that Saga included within their first four albums called "The Chapters" which told the story of a young Albert Einstein. These songs were later included on The Chapters LIVE, an album that the band recorded in 2005.

Silent Knight" is Saga's third album and the last one with producer, Paul Gross. What the band introduced on their debut is prevalent here too, namely serious pop rock songs with a good dose of instrumental segments showing off the skills of guitarist Ian Crichton and new keyboard player Jim Gilmour, who I feel gets featured much more than Crichton on this album.

This is similar to the release with the same label, Saga (3) - Silent Knight. It's the same pressing plant, Pilz, but clearly pressed at another time due to the fact that the matrix/runout has square brackets and a different runout (indicates a pressing 1992 or later). - Saga - Silent Knight has the same label on front- and back-cover but Label and Right Society on CD is different.
- Saga - Silent Knight has different backcover (printed in West germany) and different Label and Right Society on CD.
- Saga - Silent Knight has the same label but it's released in Germany in 1987. It could be the same release as this one but the lack of information and photos, it can not be determined.
