Harakiri is the third studio album by Armenian-American singer Serj Tankian. The album was released on July 10, 2012, as a follow-up to his 2010 album Imperfect Harmonies. The album also constitutes the first of four planned albums, the other three being Orca, Jazz-Iz-Christ, and the still-unreleased Fuktronic.
Serj Tankian : Harakiri,альбом, рецезия, трек-лист, mp3, тексты песен. Nearly all of the ballads are stuffed together, while the majority of energetic tracks are shoved into the beginning and end of the record. A little more than halfway through the album, a change of pace is desperately needed; a break from the legion of turtle-paced landscapes. Even with the obvious flaws of arrangement and slight laziness, the good certainly outweighs the bad on Harakiri. Most pieces are very well thought-out, and very entertaining

Harakiri, Serj's latest solo album, was released in July of 2012 via Reprise Records/Serjical Strike and is the follow up to 2010’s critically acclaimed Imperfect Harmonies. The album is the third solo release from the System Of A Down front man. As with 2007’s Elect the Dead and Imperfect Harmonies, Serj produced Harakiri himself at his home studio in Los Angeles. He tried to approach writing a little differently this time around I used the Apple iPad as a songwriting instrument to sketch out three of the songs on the record explains Serj.
Harakiri is Serj Tankian’s third solo album, after the dissolution of System of a Down. The album follows the concept of animal suicide, and according to Tankian himself, there is an overall story tying the song titles together. It is as follows (song titles are emboldened). The Cornucopia of love/hate affairs with Gaia have made us scream Fuck! Let’s Figure It Out! CEOs are the disease.
I really wanted to like this album but compared to Elect the Dead and SOAD; Serj's music and lyrics have regressed in quality. Also, I really don't feel the passion behind them either and that is honestly the most important to me. I think he took on way too many projects at once, didn't devote enough time to each them individually and all of them suffered because of it.
