The Dave Brubeck Quartet is a jazz album released by The Dave Brubeck Quartet in several iterations between 1952 and 1962. The album was first released in 1952, on the Fantasy Records label, as Fantasy 10" LP 3-7. The tracks were recorded in September 1952 at the "Surf Club" in Hollywood, California. In place of Quartet regulars Bob Bates and Joe Dodge, are Wyatt "Bull" Ruther on bass and, depending on the track, either Herb Barman or Lloyd Davis on drums.

The Dave Brubeck Quartet in Europe was one of the tougher Columbia LPs to acquire for fans of the pianist, though it was finally reissued by Sony in Japan in 1999. Excerpted from a pair of concerts recorded in Europe during a spring tour in 1958, the quartet is in top form, while Brubeck is hardly the heavy-handed pianist that many early critics claimed him to be on these rewarding performances. It is puzzling as to why this valuable album has yet to be reissued by the Legacy label of Sony, but it may eventually appear in the .
