Where the Wild Things Are is a 2009 album by American guitarist Steve Vai. The album was recorded and filmed at the State Theatre in Minneapolis, MN as part of Vai’s Sound Theories world tour. The 2 hour and 40 minute set contains several new tracks and re-orchestrated pieces culled from Vai's catalog.

The invention of the steam engine and its capability in carrying massive loads made it the best way to carry tons of load across vast stretches of land quickly. Soon miles and miles of railroad was laid down to connect states and even countries. 11. Electric Battery (1800) – Volta’s Remarkable Feat. It used moving parts to do the computations and weighed tons. The compact computers we use today are a result of inventions like the transistors and integrated circuits. 13. Refrigerator (1834) – Beating the heat in 1834.

Leos aren’t the types to play confusing mind games with you and they don’t like to be sneaky or go behind people’s backs. They tend to be extremely direct and straight forward with people and with Leo you can be sure to always know where you stand. Those closest to Leo often turn to them when they want their ‘no bullshit’ opinion about something. 8. Leo is a social creature who loves to connect with others. Leos tend to be forgiving by nature and they’re not the types to keep grudges past their used by date. They see not point in hanging onto toxic and hateful emotions and would prefer to simply forgive and move on. 15. Leo is confident on the outside but sensitive on the inside.

The invention of the compass certainly helped modern navigation more than our GPS-needing culture could understand. The energy we use today at home and office is a bright idea from more than 150 years ago. Pioneered in the early 19th century by Humphry Davy, electric lights developed throughout the 1800s and was one of the most influential, great inventions of all times.

This provided a way to prevent the growth of bacteria in substances such as wine, beer and milk. It made milk much safer to drink. Invented by John Boyd Dunlop; it was developed as a way to make tricycle riding more comfortable. His first attempt involved using an old garden hose fitted with air. He later developed this idea using a rubber pneumatic tyre and filed for a patent in 1888.

The invention of camera is also a controversy as it is assumed that Alexander Walcott invented the first camera in 1840, while photographed pictures were seen around 1826 made by Joseph Niepce. However, before camera was made, all events were like he-say-she-say. The improvement in the camera technology has helped bring motion pictures which is growing larger every year. It has changed the way we live and if you can prove me wrong, just name anything that is as widespread as internet is. 3. Robots, Artificial Intelligence.

The basic things related to life can't be replaced by technology although they can be modified a bit. For example, most of the clothes we wear are machine made whereas earlier (before technological) development they were hand made. Our feelings can't be replaced by technology.

This invention has indeed accomplished amazing things in more areas of life than we realize. It has helped high performance military aircrafts to fly, put a spaceship into orbit, control medical equipment, create visual imagery, store vast amounts of information and allowed the functioning of car, phones and power plants. The Web potentially trumps all the world’s greatest inventions.
