Lester Flatt ‎– Flatt Out. Label: Columbia ‎– CS 1006. Format: Vinyl, LP, Album. I bought this record because I'm a hardcore bluegrass fan and pretty much collect everything by Flatt and Scruggs. These recordings are nothing like the hard-driving Flatt and Scruggs recordings that earned the duo their fame. The song selections are ok, and the record moves along like a pleasantly babbling brook, but it's nothing to write home about. Any of the records featuring Lester Flatt alongside Earl Scruggs is better than this one. Reply Notify me Helpful.
