John Sinclair & His Blues Scholars Featuring Wayne Kramer – Full Circle. Label: Alive Records – ALIVECD 0023. A Choice Student album.
Progressive Rock David Sinclair. Band Name David Sinclair. Album Name Full Circle.
On Full Circle, Sinclair, the former White Panther leader, MC5 manager, and political prisoner, lets loose with help from Motor City and Crescent City associates. Providing musical muscle are special guests ex-MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer and trumpeter Charles Moore who performed with the jazz outfit Contemporary Jazz Quartet. Both played a major part in Sinclair's early jazz, poetry, and rock escapades. Luckily, age has not mellowed any of these men a bit.

This circle pulsates with energy and life andÑso long as the music is correctly selected and properly playedÑkeeps the verse fresh and listenable no matter how many times it is uttered. While the texts remain the same, the music is different every time, making the performances infinitely various for poet and Ü audience alike. John Sinclair & The Blues Scholars opened at Kaldi's just after Labor Day, jammed with Wolfman the next week, and invited local engineer Keith Keller to come down to Kaldi's to make a recording of our third gig there on September 20th.
John Sinclair in a variety of musical settings: with his Blues Scholars in New Orleans, Boston & Los Angeles, with the Kudzu Kings, Jimbo Mathus, Little Milton, Wayne Kramer, Ed Moss & the Society Jazz Orchestra, Charles Moore, and Marion Brown. My first album, Full Moon Night, was released by Alive Records in 1995. I was 53 years old and finally had a full-scale document of my hard-won performance style, developed over a 30-year gestation period which began at the Artists Workshop in Detroit
