Tchaikovsky: The Ballets (Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty). He almost invariably drew performances from his orchestra which were no less than very good, any in many cases, outstanding. It was a very rare occasion when he produced an unsatisfactory performance. The three Tchaikovsky ballets contained in this box were released by Columbia on three separate LPs. They are not the complete ballets nor are they even the fuller suites which have been recorded by others
